Coffeemaker Nº4 is a no-tech countertop appliance for making an excellent cup of pour over coffee, as well as a piece of functional sculpture for your kitchen.

Brewing coffee is as simple as putting a paper filter in the top, adding ground coffee, and then slowly pouring hot water through to the carafe below. With manual brewing, your hand is what controls your brew.

Coffeemaker Nº4 can be used with cone or wave filters, depending on your preference and gear. Brewed coffee drips into a carafe with markings that help you ensure the right brew ratio. You can make as little coffee as a 8oz cup (240 ml) or as much as 20oz (800 ml)—enough to share.

Nº4 is the latest iteration of our signature Manual Coffeemaker—the defining design gesture of which has always been the hand-crafted sculptural borosilicate glass dome. This cloche transforms from clear to translucent with the steam of brewing.

New for this edition of the Manual Coffeemaker are the ceramic bases. Available in matte black, matte white, and stoneware—the plates are a handsome and dish-washer safe base for the unit.
